Industrial Water Treatment
for Ohio Facilities.
Boiler and cooling tower programs, wastewater and paint detackification, closed-loop treatment, plus SOLIDified solid chemistry. We service, repair, and maintain the systems you already run, and engineer new ones, with 24/7 emergency response and an engineer-led team that still shows up to the job site. Our standard on every account: Professional Service, Quality, and Value.
Untreated Water Destroys Industrial Equipment
Ohio's commercial water runs 15–25 grains per gallon, in the "Very Hard" category. Without pretreatment, that hardness attacks every system in your facility.
-
Boiler & Cooling Tower Scale
Mineral buildup reduces heat transfer efficiency, increases fuel consumption, and accelerates tube failure.
-
Unplanned Downtime & Repair Costs
Scaled heating elements, fouled membranes, and corroded piping lead to emergency shutdowns and six-figure repair bills.
-
Process & Product Quality Failures
Hard water compromises manufacturing consistency, food processing compliance, and product quality standards.
-
Energy Waste & Regulatory Risk
Scaled systems consume up to 29% more energy. Untreated hard water drives up energy costs and accelerates equipment failure across your facility.
Not sure what your water is costing you?
We'll come to your facility, test your water, and tell you what's happening, at no charge.
What Untreated Water Costs Your Plant
Scale, corrosion, and biological growth attack every boiler, cooling tower, and closed loop in your facility. Left alone, the water drives up energy bills, shortens equipment life, and triggers the failures that stop production.
A treatment program built around your actual water chemistry protects all of it, and pays for itself in fuel, repairs, and uptime.
Don't take our word for it.
Full-Scope Industrial Water Treatment
One engineer-led team for every loop in your facility: steam, cooling, waste, and the paint booth.
Boiler Treatment
Scale and corrosion control, deaerator and feedwater chemistry, blowdown control, and oxygen scavenging that keep steam systems efficient and online.

Cooling Tower Treatment
Scale, corrosion, and microbiological control for towers and condensers, with passivation and automated feed and monitoring.
Learn More →
Wastewater
Coagulation, clarification, and pH adjustment to keep discharge compliant and your operation out of trouble.
Learn More →
Paint Detackification
Detackifiers, flocculants, and foam control for automotive and industrial paint booths, so overspray leaves with the sludge instead of fouling the booth.
Learn More →
Closed-Loop Treatment
Corrosion inhibitors and pH control for heating and chilled-water loops, including mixed-metallurgy systems.
Learn More →
Solid Chemistry (SOLIDified)
SOLIDified solid chemistry with AP Tech feeders delivers consistent treatment and ends hazardous liquid handling, drums, and spills.
Learn More →Engineer-Led. Field-Proven.
25+ years treating boilers, cooling towers, closed loops, and wastewater for Ohio facilities, led by a chemical engineer who still runs service calls.
Industrial DNA
Full-scope treatment for every loop in the plant: steam, cooling, closed-loop, process, and waste. We see how the whole system behaves, not one piece of it.
Engineer-Led
A chemical engineer leads our work. You get programs built on water chemistry and equipment behavior, not a sales target.
Solid Chemistry Advantage
We convert facilities to SOLIDified solid chemistry and AP Tech feeders: consistent dosing, no hazardous liquids, drums, or spill risk for your team.
Emergency Response
When a system goes down, you reach a person, not a voicemail. Our team rolls out and gets you back in production.
25+ Years Treating Ohio's Toughest Water.
Doug Hoffman has spent more than 25 years in industrial water treatment across Ohio. A chemical engineer trained at the University of Cincinnati, he started in the field in 1998 and founded Hoffman Water LLC in 2018.
He still runs service calls, from boiler startups and condenser passivation to closed-loop pH and SOLIDified conversions. The team has grown (Scott Koehnke leads sales with 30+ years of his own), but the standard hasn't changed: understand the water, understand the equipment it feeds, and build a program that protects both.

What Working With Us Actually Saves
Real jobs from Ohio facilities. No stock stories.
The Resin Replacement They Didn't Need
A manufacturer was quoted $25,000 for new softener resin. We tested it: the resin was fine, the brine lines weren't. Fixed the same day.
A New System That Finally Ran Right
Another vendor sold a facility a system they couldn't program. We commissioned the equipment they already owned instead of selling them more.
We Called Back When No One Else Would
A Columbus plant couldn't get any supplier to return a call. We answered, showed up, and they've been a customer since.
